42-year-old Eric Duncan who happens to be the first person to be diagnosed of Ebola in the United States of America has reportedly passed away.
In a statement by Wendell Watson, Texas Health Resources spokesman:
"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt disappointment that we must inform you of the death of Thomas Eric Duncan this morning at 7:51 am. We have offered the family our support and condolences at this difficult time."Despite being given the experimental Ebola drug, brincidofovir, Duncan's condition kept deteriorating from serious to critical.
According to reports, when Duncan's family visited him on Tuesday, they refused to video him because what they saw was "very painful" and "didn't look good."
