Family of Late Nollywood Actor Clems Onyeka Vow To Find His Killer Spiritually

It was a sad day on the 14th of October 2014, as Nollywood lost one of its finest and popular actor Clems Onyeka, who was killed by an armed robber's stray bullet during a failed robbery attempt in Asaba, Delta State.

However, his family have refused to accept that Clem's death was an accident and have vowed to investigate his death spiritually.

Angered by what they described as foul play with the death of a popular Nollywood actor, Clems Onyeka, after he was attacked by armed robbers, who also attacked a bullion van in Asaba, Delta State, relations of the victim have taken their case to a juju priest.

They vowed not to rest until they get to the root of the matter.

Some of the aggrieved relations, including Patrick Onyeka told LeadershipNg's correspondent in Asaba that the family members resolved to take the case to a juju priest for perspicacious judgment; saying that they do not believe in the stray bullet story as vehemently claimed by the police.

As it were, the robbers, according to dependable sources, trailed the bullion van from the Benin/Asaba Express way through the Summit road and intercepted it along the DBS road before U&I Foundation, where they engaged the police team on escort duty in a fierce gun battle, allegedly killing the popular Nollywood actor by stray bullet.

Police public relations officer in the state, DSP Celestina Kalu, who insisted yesterday that the Nollywood actor was killed by a stray bullet, said that a policeman in the police escort team was also killed during the fierce gun battle.

She disclosed that the police in the early hours of yesterday, have arrested six suspected persons in connection with the attack; adding that four others suspected to be armed robbers were also killed along Ogwashi-uku/Asaba express way during a robbery operation.

While appealing to family members of the Nollywood actor to take everything with equanimity; DSP Kalu assured members of the public that the police would get to the root of the incident; adding that the arrested suspects are already helping the police with further investigation.

Expectedly, it was reliably gathered that the robbers numbering over eight arrived in Asaba with a Siena Toyota car commando-style, causing pandemonium on the ever busy DBS Asaba road before the police escort moved into the incident.

Sources said that the road users scampered for safety as many of them abandoned their cars, but when the police noticed that the bullion van driver had escaped with the van intact, the office of the U&I foundation was riddled with bullets while the staffers scampered through the fence for their dear lives.

Speaking further, DSP Kalu confirmed that one of the robbers was killed by the police, adding that the armed gang escaped with the corpse of one of their colleagues killed during the shootout while the Siena car with Reg No. AA261XX was abandoned with the robbers snatching another car from a motorist to escape.

I want you to have my last name and he showed me this beautiful ring...awwwww..I wept uncontrollably.....its one year today.."

Exclusive: Desmond Elliot Did NOT Wish Ini Edo Pregnancy (Details Inside)

I'm writing this to clear the air regarding a viral rumour which claims Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot prayed for Ini Edo to get pregnant.

The Facebook account which allegedly made the post was involved in a mix-up which I'm going to explain.

Details..

The celebrity Facebook fan page, 'Desmond Elliot' was created and impersonated by a blogger (whom I know).

The boy was using it to drive traffic to his blog and eventually grew the page to over one million likes before it was hijacked by another blogger who then made the pregnancy prayer post for Ini Edo, just to scoop comments, shares and page likes. The post racked over 100,000 comments with fans typing 'Amen' to seal the strange prayer.

The post reads:

“We all know actress, Ini Edo, has been married for a while now without any issue. Many of us have laughed at her, insulted her, judged her without knowing the pains she goes through indoors. She has entertained us, made us laugh and has inspired many of us. Today, let us come together and pray for her. Ini Edo, this year, 2014 will not pass you by, you will not only get pregnant, you will also give birth safe and sound. As you write AMEN to this, may God answer all your hidden prayers. Why not write amen? Your amen is so powerful, just type amen on her behalf. God bless you.”

I, Kay, can confirm to you that the above post which was made on the 'now Desmond Elliot's Facebook fan page' was made by a blogger named MC Gani Rismas.

Meanwhile, actor Desmond Elliot had reported to the Facebook team about a fan page which was impersonating him.

He was then asked to provide necessary documents to prove he's the real Desmond Elliot, which he did. That was how the fan page became fully verified by Facebook's team and handed over to him.

But unfortunately, the Ini Edo's post re-surfaced while he was cleaning up the messy updates made by his impersonators.
