"I Feel Very Ashamed, Sad And Disappointed In My Son" — Jackie Chan

We reported earlier that Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee, was arrested with 3.5ounces of Marijuana in his Beijing home. You can read the post here.

Meanwhile, following that incident, superstar actor actor Jackie Chan has moved to publicly condemn his 32-year-old son's behavior.

Jackie Chan, who is an anti-drug ambassador in China said:

“When I first heard the news, I was absolutely enraged.As a public figure, I feel very ashamed; as his dad, I’m very sad and disappointed. But the person who feels heartbroken the most is his mom.I hope our younger generation will learn from Jaycee’s mistake and stay far away from drug abuse.

“I would like to take this opportunity and say to Jaycee: you’ve done something wrong and you have to be responsible for the consequences. I’m your dad and I’ll always be with you. We will face the road ahead of us together.I should also take some of this responsibility because as his dad, I didn’t teach him well.

“Therefore, on behalf of Jaycee and myself, I extend our deepest apologies to everyone for the negative impact this has caused on society. Thank you.”

Jaycee Chan is an actor like his dad but about 20 of his movies all flopped.

AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima Hits Back At John Okafor, "Mr Ibu Needs Education"

Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, recently accused AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima of mismanagement of funds given by the President and therefore condemned her intention to run for her second term.

However, following his comments, the AGN president has replied him sarcastically. She said:

“Which money is he talking about? That is why I said he is detached from the realities on ground. When we went to visit the President, there was no money promised to anybody. We didn’t go there to beg for money as Mr. Ibu is used to doing; we didn’t do that. They push you to the extent that you say things that you don’t want to. I’m not about money, for once they should stop and think, see what my team and I have achieved in two years.”

She added,

“Replying Mr. Ibu would be trading intelligence with ignorance and I don’t think I have that time. I’m sure you have followed everything we have done and we have not hidden anything. Rather, we have been open about everything we have done, so if he attacks me the way he did, it clearly shows that he is completely detached from the reality, because he complained about things that we have achieved long ago, which shows that he is not part of the Guild.

"Mr. Ibu cannot vote for me, he does not have the power to do that. He cannot even run for office because he is not a member, and I was expecting to see the names of the members whom he referred to because I don’t know them, and I hope they are members of the Guild because we have actors who are not members.

“You should not because of your interest in a name feel you can come out and talk off point to become relevant. When people say people should have education, it is for this kind of reason so they will know how to speak in public.

“They think running to the press and running me down on Facebook and others will deter me. No. I was not brought up like that, I’m a very thorough breed. I will do what I have to do to get to where I am going. It is the love that I get from people whose lives I have touched that keeps me going, not those who don’t know where they are going, because every sentence they make is money, where is the money?”

Movie Producer Caught Doing It With A Desperate Girl For Movie Role [Photos]

A Ghanaian movie producer (pictured) who has prioritized sleeping with young girls just to make them movie stars has been nabbed by the police, we can reveal.

His cup ran over when he deceived a 17-year old girl upon promising her a movie role in an upcoming movie that was meant to hit Ghana. He deceived the girl until when he dropped the last lie that he was only going to put her on the final list if she gives him s*x. Funny enough, the girl yielded.

However, the girl got disappointed when she didn't feature in the movie of which her father later got to know what transpired between his daughter and the so-called movie producer.

He ordered his daughter to take him and the police to the producer's house and immediately arrested him.

To their greatest surprise, when they got to his house, the police caught the flexible producer doing it to another girl whom he made same promise to. Bubble busted as he was handcuffed and taken away.

Nollywood Director Disgraces Genevieve Nnaji Over Comments

It is obvious that Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji hasn't been featuring in recent movies. In a chat with Punch, the iconic celebrity explained the reason for her sudden disappearance. She said:

“I guess I haven’t found the right script yet. Creativity and depth are the qualities that I look out for in a script. In the beginning, the movie industry emphasised quantity but things are changing and there is an improvement in trend. I am among the people who advocate for the improvement of the industry. 

"So said, I am constantly watching out for the kind of stories I take part in. I am in support of movies that show a great deal of professionalism and creativity. Having practiced my art in international & professionally produced stories like ‘Ije’; ‘Mirror boy;’ and ‘Tango with me’, I don’t think I can return to the blandness and mediocrity that characterized Nollywood in the past.”

However, in response to what she said, a big name Nollywood Director, Mac Collins Chidebe (pictured right), condemned her comments. He claimed they expected these celebrities to return to the industry and take them to the next level after making them stars instead, they bite the fingers that fed them by sitting back to criticize.

Those days in Enugu when Genevieve was growing in Nollywood, our movies were not rubbish; she has grown now, made money, fame, popularity e.t.c, how much has she invested in this Industry that made her? 

"All the while she was busy waiting for Titanic scripts, Nollywood was trying their best to keep the flag flying waiting for her to come back and take the industry to the next level. Artistes should stop biting the fingers that fed them. We are watching and waiting for them to bring down heaven. We made them stars; we are waiting for them to come back and take the industry to the next level. Instead of blasting Nollywood, come and improve Nollywood,” the Director said.

Top Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as "Mama G" is deeply upset with the way rumours are spreading around, accusing her of dating Pastor Michael Diden (also known as Ejele), a Delta State politician and former Commissioner at Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).

She has not just distanced herself from such rumour, she has also used the medium to inform Nigerians that she is not any any romantic relationship at the moment and wonders were such false gossip originated from.

Mama G, speaking with annoyance, had this to say:

"If I am sleeping with any man, it is not an affair because I am entitled to be married. It cannot become an affair because I am not married and my husband is dead.

"Secondly, I don't have any man in my life and I don't intend to have any man. I have friends and I am entitled to my own friends like everyone else.

"It is really annoying when people begin to talk about you with things you never thought of doing.

"So, to clear the air, I don't have any man in my life but friends; both males and females and I am working hard to make a living for myself so that nobody will say he/she is affecting my life.

"I don't even know the person people are talking about. At this age, I shouldn't be thinking about having a lover. Instead, I should be thinking how to work seriously to make Nigeria grow."
