A bomb explosion occurred at the early hours of today, November 7th, at a First Bank building located in Azare, Bauchi state.

According to Osun Defender, the device planted within the bank premises exploded as workers lined up at the bank to pick up the salaries. A security source in the state disclosed that 13 people have been confirmed dead, while eight others injured as a result of explosion.
At the same time, witnesses quoted by TheCable put the number of dead to 10 persons.Africa & Middle East Public Policy and Security Expert Aye Dee wrote via his Twitter account that bombing at First Bank, Azare, occurred near 10:40. Target seemed to be people collecting their salaries.
