Real Stun Atletico To Win Champions League In What Was A Dramatic Finale

Real Madrid are once again the Champions of Europe after a late dramatic equalizer from Sergio Ramos earned the white side of Madrid extra time to beat Atletico in what is their 10th Champions League trophy.

A first half header from Diego Godin and a blunder from Iker Cassillas gave Atletico the lead and they almost had the job done until a 93rd minute header from Sergio Ramos dragged the game to extra time.

Gareth Bale added a second followed by a stunning strike from Macelo which couldn't be stopped by Thibaut Courtais. Cristiano Ronaldo then scored the final goal of the game from the penalty spot which also saw him overtake Lionel Messi in the all time Champions League top goal scorer.
