- Super Eagles promised N10 million naira per goal scored Argentina
To every Nigerian supporting the Super Eagles in the ongoing world cup in Brazil, there's some good news for you. A good Nigerian has taken the initiative of motivating the players to a positive result in the last Group F clash against Argentina on Wednesday, June 25.The team have have been promised a whooping N10 million naira for any goal scored against Argentina and reports have it that more prominent and wealthy Nigerians are expected to do the same.
The Super Eagles have four points behind Group leaders Argentina who bagged a maximum six points from their previous two group matches against Bosnia Herzegovina and Iran and what would be more encouraging than Nigerians who have promised to reward the players with cash and other valuable gifts?
A win against Argentina would see the Eagles finish first from the group but their best bet is to tie the Argentinians to a draw which would see them finish second.
However, if the Eagles fail to pick a draw against Argentina and Iran beats Bosnia Herzegovina then it would be a qualification headache for the Eagles who are expected to fly to the second round.
Mr Emeka Inyamah who is a Board member and chairman of Media Committee of NFF, today confirmed that a Nigerian has promised to reward the Eagles with N10 million naira cash for every single goal they score against Argentina.
He also added that the players have been promised $10,000 USD each:
“All financial agreements with the team have been met by the NFF. Their other monies are ready. We are fully prepared to back them to go all the way. We’re confident that the Eagles will beat Argentina,” Inyamah said, after confirming that the spirit in the camp was high.
Come on Eagles! Fly!
