Nigerian Security arrests Facebook fraudster, Facebook fraudsters

The Nigerian Security Forces have reportedly arrested a suspected internet fraudster for looting about $6m from job seekers who thought they paying fees to secure jobs online.


According to a spokesperson for the Nigerian Security, Emmanuel Okeh who spoke on Friday said the suspect, 44-year old Michael Ogun uses Facebook and other websites that are falsely designed to represent government agencies such as the Nigerian Immigration, Customs, and Security thereby making job seekers pay 'small fees' believing they are actually paying for government jobs.

Okeh added that this method of scam is common in Nigeria and also said the Nigerian Security forces does not recruit online.
