Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha of Imo State yesterday placed an order of  'shoot-at-sight' on any cultist found in the state.

The Governor gave the order yesterday, July 24th, to security operatives in Ohaji Egbema LGA in a bid to combat cultism in the state after 6 people were reportedly killed in a horror clash between two cult groups identified as 'Day-Gbam' and 'Day-Well'.

Governor Okorocha had no hesitations in passing the order when he visited the troubled Local Government Area living under the fear of constant cult activities.

He immediately commissioned an Anti-Cult task Force unit, made up of Army, SS, Police, and the Imo State Security Network and gave them the ultimate order to shoot any cultist at sight.

Also, one of the responsibilities of the anti-cult groups will be to fish out their dens and eliminate them.
