| Handshake of peace |
So, a truce has been called and the two leaders are once again friends after the new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido took a trip to the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, to offer President Jonathan a peace handshake.
They also, did not just shake each other's hands but broke the Ramadan fast together as a sign of peace and unity. However, it is reported that the man behind their reconciliation is the Sultan of Sokoto, Saa’ad Abubakar, who urged the two to bury the hatchet.
