Lavrov: 'Russia May Respond To Ukraine Shooting' - Following Gunned Down Malaysian Plane

Lavrov says Russia may respond to Ukraine shooting

According to the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, his country may respond if the shooting in the cross-border by Ukraine continues.


The statement was made following the Malaysian airplane that was yesterday shot down by Ukraine who are targeting air rebels. The plane crash killed all 298 people aboard.

Lavrov told told Rossiya 24 state television,
“We already warned that if this continues then we will take measures. At least if it is clear that this has been done deliberately I am convinced that such a firing position should be neutralised as a one-off measure.”
“We have delivered a serious warning to our Ukrainian colleagues.”
