| Patrick Sawyer, Liberian infected with Ebola virus |
Yesterday, we reported about a Liberian man that was hospitalized in Lagos with Ebola-like symptoms (read here). However, according to reports just reaching us, the Liberian man, named Patrick Sawyer, has reportedly died.
Based on our reports, he died last night at the First Consultant Medical Centre, Obalende, Lagos, where he had been receiving intensive and isolated treatment against the deadly disease but nothing could be done as his condition had already worsened before he got admitted.

Sawyer arrived Nigeria on Sunday, July 20th for a conference which he represented his country's Ministry of Finance.
