SHOCKING: Man Steals Diamond Worth £160,000 And Trades It For Bag of Weed

A former UPS employee is accused of stealing a package containing a diamond worth $160,000 (£98,500) – and then trading it for a $20 bag of cannabis.

According to Metro UK, Walter Earl Morrison, 20, was unloading a plane in the cargo section of a Phoenix, Arizona, airport when he allegedly stuffed a package he thought was full of cash under his shirt.

Court documents reveals that Morrison later found that the package was not full of cash but an enormous diamond – and promptly traded the valuable stone for a $20 (£12) bag of weed.

‘Any single stone over $100,000 is an expensive stone,’ a disbelieving Brent Taubman, owner of House of Diamonds, told KJRH.

Morrison, who was arrested soon after, was fired by UPS and the diamond was retrieved and returned to its rightful owner, according to the courier service.

What do you think of him? Dumb or wise?
