Armed robbers last night attacked an Ebola isolation clinic in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia.
The incident prompted 29 Ebola victims to flee the facility and this has raised fear in the country as the infected escapees could possibly come in contact with anyone.
Rebecca Wesseh, who witnessed the attack said, “They broke down the doors and looted the place. The patients all fled.”
Her report was confirmed by the residents of the area and Mr George Williams, who is the head of Health Workers Association of Liberia.
That should make you wonder why robbers would decide to rob a facility were death lurks around as they could possibly have contracted the deadly virus in the robbing process.
