As revealed by the Bauchi State Police Command, a 9-year old boy identified as Haruna Dahiru was attacked in Bauchi State by some unknown ritualists of which his eyes were eventually plucked out for rituals.
The incident which happened in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State took place yesterday at around 2:30 pm.
According to reports, the young victim was rearing cattle at Babujaye in Gumau village when some unknown assailants trailed his movements to a solidarity area and attacked him.
The Command's spokesman, DSP Mohammed Haruna said,
“The scene was visited by the Police detectives attached to Gumau Division and the victim was rushed to General Hospital Toro for treatment.”However, he mentioned that the police had launched investigation to apprehend the suspects who're on the run.
