Must-See-Photos: Omg!! Giant Whale Shark Caught In China.. By 'Local Fisherman'

This is the incredible moment when a local fisherman in China captures a Giant Whale Shark in his net which was meant for smaller fishes.

These pictures shows a mighty Whale Shark, about two tonnes, strapped to a fisherman's truck and driven across town.

The Whale Shark tore into the fisherman's net to eat other smaller fishes but only to get caught trapped inside.

Cai, the fisherman then asked his colleagues to help him put the large creature on his truck which he drove towards the market before some officials of the Fijian Fisheries Department inquired about buying it.

Cai had planned to sell the juvenile fish between 10,000 - 20,000 Chinese yuan (about £960-£1920).
